Our very own Editha Maniquis Fuentes has been approved/voted unanimously by the City Council and sworn-in as the new Planning Commissioner in the City of Glendale!

Officially sworn-in on October 28, 2020, by the City Clerk’s office of Glendale, CA-USA, as Planning Commissioner, Editha M. Fuentes expressed her appreciation to Councilmember, Ardy Ardashes Kassakhian for her nomination/appointment last October 20, 2020, which was voted/approved unanimously by the City Council. “Thank you for the vote of confidence, Mayor Vrej Agajanian, Councilmembers Dan Brotman, Paula Devine, Ardy Kassakhian, and Ara Najarian…, and for this opportunity to help and serve the Glendale community. Public servant once more.”, Fuentes said on her FB post.

The Commission also considers and determines issues of condominium approvals, minor land divisions, and approvals for Special Recreation Zone issues.

The Commission is composed of five (5) members with four (4) year term. Editha M. Fuentes will end her term on March 2024. Commission/Board Members may continue to serve beyond their term limit until such time that they or their successors are qualified and appointed (GMC 2.36.010 (C)), as stated in the Glendale CA government website.
