UAP SoCal Chapter President, Ar. Lucille E. Floresta, an alumna from batch 1982 and a former professor of FEATI University College of Architecture, received an Outstanding Mentor Award for inspiring and mentoring her students with utmost dedication, for unselfishly sharing her time and effort in attaining the mission and vision of the university, for her commitment to providing her students with a quality learning experience and for her outstanding leadership and meritorious service extended to the university.

Along with Ar. Fe G. David, UAP, from batch 1972, and Ar. Rodill N. Soliman, UAP, from batch 1981, both former professors of FEATI University, Ar. Floresta received the recognition during the First UAP FEATInean Architects Meet held virtually via zoom last August 16, 2020.

The UAP National President, Ar. Renato A. Heray, FUAP, a proud alumnus from batch 1985, graced the event as the guest speaker while Ar. Domingo LL. Tablizo Jr., FUAP, FEATInean batch 1982, member of the UAP COF Jury of Fellows, delivered the welcome remarks. The presence of the Past UAP National President FY-2004-2005, Ar. Enrique O. Olonan, FUAP, from batch 1974, brought more excitement as he shared his fond memories during his old days in FEATI followed by his inspirational message. He also expressed his strong support to the UAP under Ar. Heray’s presidency.

Ar. Deanne Pacis Ilaga, UAP, acting dean of the College of Architecture, expressed her full support in her message dedicated to all FEATInean Architects.

Awards and Recognitions were also given to Ar. Domingo LL Tablizo Jr., FUAP, for the Outstanding Alumni Award, Ar. Renato A. Heray, FUAP, and Ar. Enrique O. Olonan, FUAP, both for the Excellence in Leadership Awards.

Ar. Pablo Ronilo L. Tecson, UAP, City Architect of Cabuyao Laguna, also an alumnus, delivered the closing remarks so precisely conveying the exact feelings of excitement and gratefulness at that very moment as everyone virtually celebrate the success of their co-alumni.

Ar. Gerard Artemio H. Villaruel, the event coordinator, has accepted taking over the chairmanship for next year’s gathering. This year’s event was organized with the help of Ar. Alberto S. Gonzalez III, Ar. Anna Lissa B. Gonzalez, and Ar. Edgardo T. Budoy, with UAP SoCal member Ar. Melchor D. Lingat’s chairmanship.

The FEATI University College of Architecture Alumni Association appreciates the support of the United Architects of the Philippines that lead to the success of this memorable and milestone event.
